Warlocks are those who have been imbued with the powers of the cosmos. A special breed of people who are able to subdue and master the arcane arts. Warlocks are chosen and trained by the Ordained Order, an ancient delegation of warlocks seeking to restore order to the natural world.

For man is not the only beast to master magic.

Fylyte City is past its prime. Once a metropolis of growth and prosperity; now desolate and divided. Those who still reside there do so only for work, or simply have nowhere else to go.

Zenkichi Fii is a young warlock apprentice. He is also a fine alchemist in his own right, his preferred method of sorcery. He is a teen of infinite resource and sagacity. Eighteen months ago, his master Orhan Bursa disappeared without a trace, leaving his post and responsibilities entirely on his apprentice. Only a year into his training, Zenkichi must balance saving a city that doesn't want to be saved with learning the dark arts, all the while trying to find out what happened to his master.
